Simple basic orange cleaner

Vinegar is one of the best natural cleaners we have. It's a natural, deodorizer, works wonders in the wash, and makes floors sparkle. You can always use vinegar for something. Unfortunately it doesn't smell very good to me. Years ago I started collecting my orange peels and making my own orange vinegar cleaner. It smells a lot better and it looks prettier.

It's so easy to do. Just fill a mason jar with orange peels about half way, stick a canning funnel on top and pour in white vinegar until the jar is full and close the lid. Let it sit for two weeks or longer and you'll have a nice simple, natural cleaner. I love using this instead of chemicals on my countertops because I know if it gets into our food we're not ingesting anything chemical. I know this is an incredibly simple idea but I wanted to share because I know not everyone thinks to do this and I think it's a very valuable idea.
