This recipe is super quick and easy and a wonderful way to use up your discard. These are so tasty topped with some soft cheese.

Ingredients:

2 cups sourdough discard

1 cup flour

4 tbsp melted butter

1/4 cup everything bagel seasoning (optional. You could use any seeds or skip this if you prefer)

Kosher salt to sprinkle on top

You can also sprinkle with garlic powder , onion powder, add in some herbs de Provence or whatever you like. The recipe is a basic one so feel free to mix it up.

Instructions:

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Add your starter to a large bowl and mix in the melted butter.

2. Add in the cup of flour and mix thoroughly.

3. Mix in the everything bagel seasoning or whatever herbs or seeds you like.

4. Pour half of the mix on each tray. Spread it out with an offset spatula .

5. sprinkle kosher salt on top.

6. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.

7. Take out and score with a pizza cutter or knife

8. Bake for 10 more minutes and check. If they’re not crispy enough bake another 5 mins.
